Beasts Of The Day.
- Colin Chell, Ohio State. Good game from the sophomore out of Bel Air, MD. Chell finished with a hat-trick (on only 3 shots) and an assist. Colin did most of his work early in the game as his 3 goals all came in the first quarter.
- Jake Withers, Ohio State. Great game for the Peterborough, Ontario native. Withers won 14/22 faceoffs, and went 9/11 in the first half. Withers' steady play at the dot in the first 2 quarters helped OSU jump out to 6-3 halftime lead, which OSU then extended to 9-3 before UMBC scored its 4th goal early in the final quarter.
Hitters List.
- Austin Shanks, Ohio State. Austin finished with 2 goals and 2 assists on the afternoon. The Whitby, Ontario product's two assists came in the 1st quarter to help OSU get a lead that they would not relinquish the rest of the game.
- Billy Nolan, UMBC. Good game from the UMBC freshman today. Billy had 2 goals and added an assist on the afternoon. The Crofton, MD native helped UMBC get on the board early, scoring the first goal of the game.
