College Crosse Games Of The Day.

  • Villanova vs. Penn State, Philly Board. This should be an excellent game.  Villanova is looking for their first win of the season and the Nittany Lions want to stay undefeated and advance higher in the polls. A win by Villanova would help to ease the pain of the OT loss to Harvard, but Penn State has been lights out lately and will put up a valiant effort. Hoping for a classic between two "Philly Team" rivals.

  • Stony Brook vs. Brown, Long Island Board. They might need a new scoreboard after these two are done lighting it up. In what should be a wonderful game at Stony Brook, the Bears look to keep their top 10 ranking while Stony Brook wants to show everyone that Hofstra isn't the only beast on the Island. Both teams have some hitters in their lineup, so this should be a great game.

  • Maryland vs. Yale, Main Board. We all know how this one ended last regular season, with Yale stunning the Terps. Maryland got their revenge in a close first-round victory over the Elis in last year's Big BBQ. However, that game did have a bit of controversy, as Yale may have had a goal that was not recognized late in the game. While this may be a low-scoring, defensive game, it'll have plenty of fireworks given the fact both squads are looking for some payback.

  • Hofstra vs. Princeton, Main Board. This is a huge one.  The Pride skyrocketed up everyone's polls after their big win over UNC.  But now they have to hold it down against a Tigers team looking for their own big early season win. Princeton's offense poured it on against NJIT last week, but Hofstra poses a much more formidable opponent. This should be a great game to watch.

CURATION BACK!!

We love diverse points of view, so please, dive right in and get after it.  Games start in a little bit, so I'll see you out there!

Thread song of the day goes out to our Michigan and Delaware boys going all Hollywood this weekend in So Cal.
