College Crosse Game Of The Day.

Rutgers vs. Stony Brook. Honestly, even if Syracuse vs. Hopkins played today, this game would still have been the College Crosse Game Of The Day. Needless to say this is a huge (*Looks at notes*) "darby" for the blog. Moreover, talk about serendipity, besides the significant regional bragging rights on the line, both teams are in the top 20, so this match-up has important national implications as well.
Rutgers is 5-0 on the season, but playing Stony Brook on THE ISLAND will present a major challenge. The Seawolves lead the all-time series 5-4. Moreover SBU has won the last three games, including last year's 13-9 victory over the Scarlet Knights. However, this year Rutgers sports a top 4 offense and the 14th best scoring defense. Given SBU's 9th ranked offense, I think the scoreboard operator is in for a busy night.
