College Crosse Game Of The Day.
- Princeton vs. Rutgers. The #BattleForNewJersey is our College Crosse Game Of The Day! This is the 94th meeting between the two, so both squads know each other quite well. While New Jersey bragging rights are ALWAYS important, both teams really need a W today too. Rutgers caught a big L against Stony Brook on Friday and Princeton got dropped by Maryland on Saturday. The Tigers are bit out of sorts as their Maryland loss was the second blowout in as many games and they are now on 3 game losing streak. However, I expect Princeton to come out really focused as a win today would give them some momentum before 3 straight conference games.
Rutgers has plenty of questions as well. While the Scarlet Knights were playing excellent lacrosse through their first 5 games, Friday's game against Stony Brook got out of hand pretty quickly in the second half. They will need to regroup today to demonstrate they are for real.
I expect today's game to be quite entertaining. Here are the highlights from their last meeting.
