One thing this weekend's results did was remind us that it's still early April, and there is a ton of lacrosse left between now and selection Sunday.

Elis Back Over .500
Eight different Bulldogs found the net as the men's lacrosse team overcame a 3–0 deficit to beat Dartmouth 11–9 on Saturday.

Red Works Hard to Remain Undefeated
Given last year’s 14-3 record and the Red’s trip to the NCAA quarterfinals against powerhouse UVA, there were great expectations for the men’s lacrosse program as it entered the 2012 season. Already more than halfway through the season, Cornell sits atop the Ivy League with a perfect 3-0 conference record, in addition to its 7-1 record overall. Winning key games in March against Ivy rivals Yale, Penn and Dartmouth, as well as nationally ranked Denver, put the team in a good standing as it heads into the last four games of the regular season against Harvard, Syracuse, Brown and Princeton.

Working Off The Weekend: Five Things to Know
It must nice being at the top. No. 1 Virginia showed its strengths again, pulling away in the second half against an ACC foe for the second straight week. The Cavaliers beat North Carolina, 15-10, in front of the largest home crowd at North Carolina since 1991. Tar Heels coach Joe Breschi basically called the loss a humbling experience for his team, a week after they knocked off then-No. 1 Johns Hopkins.
