Crazy day in Utah yesterday!!! It all started when @LaxSportsNet Tweeted that multiple sources confirmed the Utes were D1 bound in 2019 or 2020. Then the Utah Athletics official Twitter account responded to @LaxSportsNet's Tweet to deny they were going D1 "at this time." @LaxSportsNet did not back down from their original reports.
As if the story wasn't spicy enough, Jordan Harris then Tweeted out a link to a letter written by University of Utah men's lacrosse coach, Rick Kladis. In the letter Kladis stated that the school hired UNC assistant coach Brian Holman, and a staff to join him at Utah, but that the team was not officially going D1 yet.
Just another hectic Tuesday, amirite?? Amazing that this all started from some rumors on Twitter on Sunday night. #WhatATimeToBeAlive
