Here are your three highlights for today:

• Boston University at Lehigh // Holy Cross at Loyola // Bucknell at Navy // Lafayette at Colgate: The Patriot League starts conference play this weekend. That's right: The biggest league in the nation will start it's charge toward the largest conference tournament in the country this weekend. The tightest matchup on the board is probably Bison-Midshipmen, and that meeting could start to shape what the middle of the league will look like in 2015. Also intriguing is Terriers-Mountain Hawks, if only because Lehigh hasn't had the surest start to its campaign this spring.
• Johns Hopkins at North Carolina // Maryland at Yale: They're both nonconference games but feature four teams from three three leagues. Hopkins' trip to Chapel Hill could erase the memory of a tough loss to Towson a few days ago while Maryland will attack the Elis in a potentially NCAA Tournament-esque meeting (weather aside, of course). These games are kind of like a monster truck promoter's commercial: Loud, important, and awesome.
