Here are your highlights for today:
- Albany at Bryant: Lyle Thompson will probably end the night as Division I's record holder for points in a career. He needs only one point tonight -- a goal, an assist, a gift of pizza rolls to the official scorer -- to break Rob Pannell's record, and there's little reason to think that Thompson won't do it. Interesting fact: The all-time record holder for points in a career -- regardless of division -- belongs to Jason Coffman of Salisbury (451 points in 62 games). Thompson won't catch Coffman because that would require an insane level of serial killing.
- Hobart at Syracuse: Interesting fact (I): The April 14, 1990 meeting between these two schools -- 25 years ago today! -- produced the largest home crowd ever in the Dome: 18,458 walked through the stadium's air locks to watch the Orange pummel the Statesmen, 23-9. Interesting fact (I): Hobart is 2-16 against Syracuse in the Carrier Dome, beating the Orange in 2006 and 2013 (each win was by a single goal).
- Brown at Providence: This is your reminder that Rhode Island is still a state.
Here's Tuesday's full schedule. Please let me know if there are errors. I'll fix/populate links to live stats and video as the day progresses (if necessary).
