• Marquette at Ohio State: This is an important spot for Marquette: If the Eagles can get past Ohio State at Bellarmine today, there is a pretty good chance that Marquette could start its 2015 season with seven consecutive victories before it faces Georgetown later in the month. Seven and oh. The other side of this equation is a little more drastic: If the Buckeyes can't take care of Marquette today, Ohio State is staring at a six-game stretch of absolute terror -- the Buckeyes will face Hofstra, Denver, Towson, Notre Dame, Penn State, and Johns Hopkins in consecutive games after today. Both teams would kill innocent men for a victory today given what's ahead in their windshields, and the urgency to do so makes this an interesting game in the shadow of Virginia-Syracuse.
