The Northeast Conference opening its tournament in the early afternoon today really screwed things up. I have things to publish, NEC! Adjust your faceoff times accordingly! Yeesh!
Here are your highlights for the day:
- NEC Tournament: First, there's the infographic to get you up to speed lickety-split. It's chock full of all kinds of things and you should put it on Twitter and Facebook to impress all of your friends. If you're a Sacred Heart or Bryant sympathizer, you may want to make your eyeballs look at this. If you're more inclined to shake your fist at Quinnipiac or Robert Morris, this is your jam.
- Big East Tournament: This is going to be a show. Notre Dame and Syracuse are playing for NCAA Tournament seeding a few days after meeting in the Big City Classic; Villanova and Georgetown are trying get to The Big Barbecue through the front door when nobody invited them when plans were originally made for the event. We have an infographic for you, as well as specific words about Irish-Orange and Hoyas-Wildcats.
- ECAC Tournament: Fairfield's NCAA Tournament hopes rest on making a bonkers run by the lake; Ohio State could use at least a win against Loyola to feel better about its May adventure hopes; Loyola is looking to improve its NCAA Tournament profile, topple its league rival (Denver), and give a two-fingered salute to the conference on its way out the door; and Denver is looking for sweet late-season momentum and a high seed in the most important tournament of them all. This is intrigue, you guys, and The Boz is the home for all of this nonsense. As usual, there's an infographic for your perusal and specific words about Ohio State-Loyola and Fairfield-Denver.
- America East Tournament: Albany appears ready to crush skulls from now until late Saturday morning, but that doesn't mean that Hartford, UMBC, and Stony Brook should have ambulances at the ready, right? (Don't answer that question.) Ryan put together an infographic on the tournament and some specific words about UMBC-Hartford appear here (words are coming on Albany-Stony Brook).
Here's today's full schedule with links to things so that you can monitor the carnage (Wagner isn't in action today because Robert Morris was going to boycott the NEC Tournament if Bryant invited the Seahawks (it's a long story)):
