From Syracuse.com: If production matches potential, Syracuse lacrosse sees a long run.
In response to a combination of opportunity and necessity, Syracuse lacrosse coach John Desko made the decision to overload his lineup with young, unproven players the past two seasons. That strategy stewed in growing pains and mixed results: 8-7 in 2018 and 9-5 last year, runs that both ended with first-round NCAA Tournament losses.

Here’s a good article on the NLL’s Jessica Berman.
Jessica Berman has never played lacrosse, but that hasn’t stopped her from becoming one of the top executives in the National Lacrosse League.
In August, she was appointed deputy commissioner of the National Lacrosse League and is now the highest-ranking woman in a men’s professional sports league. Her immediate goal? To expand the NLL, which now has 13 professional teams, to 16 teams.

What’s Up, New PhilaJersey?
The Washington Post wrote a glowing article about NJ’s new indoor ski resort.
So why sink $110 million into Jersey mall skiing? Because it may revolutionize the sport, expanding and diversifying its base. Still, do we want to take away the majestic glory of mountain snow sports by plunking them in a 16-story steel-and-concrete container?
World/National News

“I believe people deserve to spend more time with their families, loved ones, hobbies and other aspects of life, such as culture. This could be the next step for us in working life,” Marin said in August while she was still the minister of transport.
