Head coach John Desko confirmed the move after practice on Wednesday. Although Desko said the news remains unofficial until announced by the school, Costanza was already on the field helping out.
The Delaware Blue Hens had a goat stop by practice yesterday.

Inspiring to learn from one of the biggest competitors in the sport! #BlueHens pic.twitter.com/Ik6i8hdZS6
Playing against the best atheletes of your sport at the Division I level is daunting. Playing in a starting role as a freshman — even more daunting.
But when attackman Bryce Clay and defenseman Andrew Darby both found themselves in the starting lineup for the Michigan men’s lacrosse team against Drexel last Februrary — the second game of their freshman season — they had little to fear.

Our friends at Anonymous Eagle did some unscientific predictions for the Big East.
Everyone cross your fingers and hope that the Big East isn’t super fast on the draw this morning. I realized yesterday that the preseason awards for men’s lacrosse came on out January 23rd last season, so I knocked together this list of preseason picks to get out in front of the league office. Will it work? I certainly hope so!

What’s Up, New PhilaJersey?
Oh boy: Did Gritty punch a 13-year-old boy in the back? Philadelphia detectives are investigating.
In Greenwell’s telling, Brandon playfully patted the mascot on the head after the photo was taken. As Brandon walked away, Gritty got out of his chair, “took a running start,” and “punched my son as hard as he could,” Greenwell said Wednesday.
