That’s J.T. Forkin, who was at Nassau Community College last year. He was previously at Syracuse two years ago, and also was not on the roster during the fall. He is back on the team sporting the #39.
There are a few other changes worth noting. Walk-on freshman defenseman Connor Flanagan from Jamesville-DeWitt is #14 after wearing #53 in the fall. Sophomore goaltender Willie Klan is sporting his third number as a member of the Orange, wearing #77 after beginning with #50, followed by #14 after Rob Orazietti left the team. Rob’s brother, Alec Orazietti, is now at Fairleigh Dickinson playing on their team.
Finally, John Desko’s opening press conference:
Teams have started practices.

VIDEO OF THE DAY
I saw this for the first time last night and it’s fantastic. I later did some research and found out that it wasn’t a school play. Instead, some director hired child actors and filmed all of this in LA’s Koreatown section. Still, it’s great.
