Here are your highlights for today:
- The Patriot League: The Patriot League Tournament starts next week and today marks the last regular season competition date for intra-conference games for league members. It has been an exceedingly bonkers year for a conference that desperately sought some insanity after 2014's rigorous discipline, and it all reaches its apex this evening. There are two games to keep a close eye on: Holy Cross-Boston University and Lafayette-Lehigh. If Boston University beats Holy Cross, the Terriers are in the Patriot League Tournament. If the Crusaders beat BU and Lafayette beats Lehigh, Holy Cross is in the Patriot League Tournament. If Lehigh beats Lafayette and Holy Cross beats Boston University, the Mountain Hawks will make the field. (Easy, right?) The odds are, right now, in Boston University's favor to lock up the last spot in the league's postseason event (the Terriers are a favorite against the Crusaders), but there's no guarantee that things won't go sideways in a hurry.
- Harvard at Princeton: The Tigers can't afford a brain fart given Princeton's current NCAA Tournament situation. The Crimson need a win in order to move the needle on the team's Ivy League Tournament hopes. It's 4:00 A.M. and the bar's closing, people.
- High Point at VMI: The Keydets are still hunting for their first victory of the season. Throw VMI some good feelings and, short of that, something to drink that makes you feel like rainbows.
Here's Friday's full schedule. Please let me know if there are errors. I'll fix/populate links to live stats and video as the day progresses (if necessary).
