Lacrosse the Internet: March 7, 2013

Everybody loves the blues.

This is obviously your favorite site, but other people actually write important stuff sometimes. Now is that sometimes.

Circle of Lax: Instinctive attack Donahue follows in footsteps of Syracuse family
There was no place to shoot. The Donahue family moved into a new home and onto a larger property in Camillus, N.Y., with amenities like an extended driveway, more privacy and a wooded backyard.

Johns Hopkins vs. Princeton Highlights
I'm not really sure how someone made 13:00 of PRI-JHU highlights, but here we are. News: Lacrosse Power Rankings: ND on top
The Irish certainly know how to skate on thin ice. The Domers scored two goals in the final minute of regulation against North Carolina, including the game-tying goal by Matt Kavanagh with 11.9 left to send the game into overtime. The freshman out of Chaminade ended the festivities for the second straight game, as he scored his fourth of the game 15 seconds into the third OT to keep the Irish undefeated.

Detroit 4, Bellarmine 10

Syracuse's Mullins Likely Sidelined; Maryland-UMBC Postponed; Injury Updates
Syracuse longpole Brandon Mullins is likely sidelined for the Orange's upcoming contest against St. John's on Saturday in the Whitman's® Sampler® Independence Classic at PPL Park in Chester, Pa.

Hopkins Declares 'Open Competition' For Starting Goalie Position
Johns Hopkins walked out of Tuesday's night contest against Mount St. Mary's with a dominant 19-9 victory, then walked right into a surprise goalie controversy heading into Friday's game against UMBC.

Bryant, at 0-4, Trying to Fix Shooting Woes
When the Bryant University men's lacrosse team began its quest to build on last year's 14-4 record, topped off by a Northeast Conference title, the Bulldogs surely did not expect this.

Today's beats: The blues are the best.
