Jamie Trimboli had made peace with the notion of forever packing away his Syracuse lacrosse jersey in favor of attire more appropriate for real world employment. Trimboli, a senior All-American midfielder, was ready to start a job this summer with a wealth management and financial advising company in Rochester.

From Onward State: Returning seniors key to Penn State lacrosse 2021 roster.
When the coronavirus forced the cancellation of spring seasons, no team in Happy Valley was better positioned for a championship run than Penn State men’s lacrosse. With conference play looming, Penn State was in prime position to battle for the Big Ten crown. Although they stumbled against Yale and Cornell, the Nittany Lions were undoubtedly an NCAA contender due to a strong upperclassmen group.

The Eastern Massachusetts Lacrosse Coaches Association (EMLCA) announced late Thursday evening its plan to host its first annual Senior Classic, a tournament solely for senior boys lax players across Eastern Mass. Local high school seniors and boys lacrosse players could have a chance to don their jerseys one final time.
The Eastern Mass Lacrosse Coaches Association has announced the first annual Senior Classic Lacrosse Tournament. The 2020 Senior Classic will be held on Sunday July 20 and Monday July 21.

The ACC Network (ACCN), the 24/7 national platform dedicated to ACC sports, is currently presenting 15 days of programming that highlights each ACC school with a full 24 hours of original content, classic games and memorable performances. Bowdoin women’s lacrosse alum organizes fundraiser and 5k for COVID-19 relief.
In hopes of embracing this feeling and uniting their local and remote communities, Bowdoin alum and former women’s lacrosse player Sophie Lubrano ’19 and her two sisters hosted a virtual run/walk 5k race this past weekend, raising $27,545 for the COVID-19 Response Fund launched by the Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP).

UVA women’s lacrosse team honoring former player through “Yards For Yeardley” fundraiser.
The University of Virginia women’s lacrosse program hasn’t let the quarantine stand in the way of staying fit – or of being part of a great cause. In past years, the team has had the goal of completing 1 million yards of exercise for “Yards for Yeardley,” a fundraiser in honor of former lacrosse player Yeardley Love, who died at the hands of a fellow student in a case of relationship violence. This spring, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Love’s death, the team has become even more ambitious.
