Put your mask on, folks, because we’re back with another Safe & Chris Quarantine Experience podcast. This was a much more optimistic and upbeat show from our previous two Quarantine Experience episodes and we think you’ll enjoy it.
In this pod, we first talked about the Big Ten, PAC-12, Mountain West, MAC, & UMass playing football again, College Basketball on the horizon, and how happy we are that lacrosse teams will begin practicing soon. We then touched on a couple disconcerting things, like Ivy League lacrosse being in limbo with some of their teams and the shaky situation in D2 & D3.
We then bantered about what the 2021 season would look like and broke down a potential 10-game season, conference tournament week, and NCAA Tournament for next year. After that we moved on to the NCAA announcement this week regarding future NCAA DI Lacrosse Championship sites through 2026, our thoughts on the locations chosen, whether we liked the return to NFL stadiums for 2023-2026, and whether or not the NCAA should think about a permanent site for lacrosse.
We closed the show with our thoughts on Michigan public high schools not having faceoffs for 2021, answered questions sent in by readers/followers, our thoughts on Tenet, major boxing events this weekend, & whether or not we’d trade Ben Simmons or Joel Embiid.
