COLLEGE CROSSECAST Ep. 148: End Of An Era At Johns Hopkins

In a surprising turn of events on Tuesday, Johns Hopkins University announced that the University and men’s lacrosse coach Dave Pietramala have mutually and responsibly agreed to part ways. The news sent shock waves throughout the lacrosse community.

In this episode Jake, Adam, myself, and special guest Chris Jastrzembski discussed Petro’s legacy at Hopkins, our favorite memories of him, and possible replacements. We also bantered about where we think it may have started to go wrong for coach Petro at JHU and his impact on the Hopkins and the sport as a whole. Moreover, we discussed the latest news in the transfer world and where we think some of the biggest names might land. Finally, we talked about the economic pressure that colleges and universities are under because of the COVID-19 crisis and how that might affect the 2021 season.
