GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING, College Crosse Nation! Thanks for making us a part of your day! Here’s everything you need to know for April 14, 2020.

College Crosse News

US Lacrosse Magazine with a great post on TD: TD Ierlan reflects on career as Ivy League Schools levy eligibility rulings.

TD Ierlan has already transferred once, leaving Albany after his sophomore campaign for Yale, a school at which he’s participated in an NCAA championship game and set countless NCAA records. Transferring a second time doesn’t seem feasible for the all-time faceoff great. “I think two schools is a good limit for me,” Ierlan said on Friday. “I’d pass on a third school. That’s a little bit too much.”

From Syracuse.com: ‘Bittersweet’ Nick Mellen’s career with Syracuse lacrosse is over.

All-American defender Nick Mellen is hanging up his Syracuse lacrosse jersey. The fifth-year senior announced in an Instagram post that he will not be seeking the extra year of eligibility granted by the NCAA to spring sport athletes whose season were cut short by the coronavirus.

Here is a touching post by Penn’s Teia Ross: Despite its early end, my lacrosse career was my Penn identity.

Your opportunity will come. For three years I heard that from my teammates, just waiting for the chance to show that I’ve been learning every day, making the most of my limited reps, and turning extra work sessions into my own practices.

Yale freshman BJ Burlace is reportedly on the move to Maryland.

Everyone’s doing their part: Farrell lacrosse players extend a helping hand in the fight against coronavirus.

The spring sports season may not be played this year, but that isn’t keeping four of Monsignor Farrell’s senior lacrosse players from getting out into the field. Andrew DiCostanzo, Mel Maurice, Nick Mule, and Anthony Polio, along with Holy Name Society President Matthew Bilotto, traded in their lacrosse gloves for a pair of the latex variety while helping distribute food to those in need.

FINALLY! You can now vote on the best Syracuse lacrosse player of all-time.

#AnotherOne: Defenseman TJ Connellan to return to Penn State men’s lacrosse.

Another senior member of Penn State’s defense will be back in 2021. Defenseman TJ Connellan announced his intent to return to the program on Monday in a statement ... He joins a returning senior class of attackman Mac O’Keefe, defenseman Nick Cardile, faceoff specialist Gerard Arceri and goalie Colby Kneese.

Coach Marr joined Paul Carcaterra on 4 Quarters with Carc.

The grind never stops.

What’s Up, New PhilaJersey?

Bronx Bombers: N.J. nurses’ Yankees-themed coronavirus tribute goes viral.

Intensive care unit nurses at Hunterdon Medical Center show off their Yankees fandom while battling the coronavirus. This picture went viral on Twitter, catching the attention of Gary Sanchez, Gleyber Torres and the official Yankees account.

And here we .... go: Students are suing their colleges for coronavirus-related refunds.

As colleges close their doors and move classes online to curtail the spread of coronavirus, students across the country have raised concerns that they are still paying high tuition prices for what is now an online education ... Now, students at two colleges, Drexel University and the University of Miami, have filed two class-action lawsuits in South Carolina federal court under the representation of South Carolina-based Anastopoulo Law Firm, against their schools in hopes of receiving some kind of reimbursement.
