Robert Morris got its first win of the season today, thanks in large part to a 12 goal explosion in the second and third quarter of the game. RMU had 10 players record at least one goal on the day, and their defense held the Knights to only two first half goals.
Below is today’s Big Board with today’s results and box scores. RMU hasn’t put their recap up yet, but I will update the post when they do.

College Crosse Recap
The Colonials jumped out to a 3-1 first quarter lead and then stepped on the gas in the second and third, scoring five and seven goals, respectively, on their way to a dominating 15-7 win over Bellarmine. RMU’s Jimmy Perkins had a big game today with 8 points (2 Gs & 6 As). The Colonials also got great games from attackman Matt Schmidt (2 Gs & 2 As) and midfielder Corson Kealey (3 Gs). Alex Heger also played very well in the cage, notching 9 saves and only allowing 7 goals the entire game.
Bellarmine was a bit outmatched this afternoon, but the Knights did have several bright spots. Midfielder Landon Trout had 4 points in the game (3 Gs & 1 A), and the Knights were competitive at the faceoff, winning 13 out 25 opportunities. However, Robert Morris’ shooters were too hot, scoring 15 goals out of 26 shots on goal.
Robert Morris’ next game is at home versus Georgetown on February 17th. Bellarmine doesn’t have much time to rest as their next game is at Michigan on February 13th.
