College Crosse Game Day: How To Watch, Attachments, & Open Thread For February 13, 2018

Seven games on tap for the first college lacrosse Tuesday!

NCAA Lacrosse: Men's Championship Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

It might not be the most thrilling set of games for this first Tuesday in the college lacrosse season, but there’s a decent amount of them nonetheless. Seven games are on tap, including the defending national champion Maryland Terrapins and the Army West Point Black Knights.

Below is today’s Big Board. Clicking on the team name will take you to that team’s homepage. Clicking on the Stream cell will take you to the broadcast of that game, while the Live Stats cell will take you to the live stats of that game. Let’s go to the Big Board!!

Games To Watch

  • High Point @ Georgetown (3 PM): The Panthers look to put last Thursday’s beatdown by Duke in the rearview mirror. Meanwhile, the Hoyas hope to start their 2018 campaign on a good note. Lucas Wittenberg will look to provide some offensive support with guys such as Daniel Bucaro and Jake Carraway surrounding him.
  • Sacred Heart @ UMass (4 PM): With a two-goal win over Stony Brook this past weekend, the Pioneers are going to be relevant again for another season. Even though they were picked to finish 5th in the NEC Preseason Poll, goaltender Brooks Dutton and midfielder Max Tuttle provide some solid contributions at their respective positions. Meanwhile, UMass had some bright spots in their 18-6 loss to Army West Point, including two goals from FOGO Noah Rak and a good performance from defenseman Isaac Paparo.
  • Marist @ Maryland (5 PM): The Red Foxes have not looked good to start the 2018 season. They’ve lost their first two games to Bucknell and Colgate, and Brian Corrigan was pulled in the third quarter of their loss to the Raiders on Saturday. Things don’t get easier with the defending national champions, who look like they can return to Championship Weekend with a young nucleus, led by Bubba Fairman on a midfield unit that includes seniors Connor Kelly and Tim Rotanz.
