GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING, College Crosse Nation!! Thanks for making us a part of your day! Here are your links for January 6, 2018.

What You Missed

Thank you, Notre Dame.

Lacrosse The Nation

Notre Dame continues to give:

The rest of the schedule should be announced soon (hopefully today). Or, if you don’t like surprises, you can see it here.

The Virginia Tech Hokies have revealed their schedule as well for women’s lacrosse.

More first days of practices for teams!

Penn State begins tomorrow:

Maryland Terrapins head coach John Tillman has named his captains for the season:

Maryland men’s lacrosse coach John Tillman has named the captains for the 2018 season: fifth-year seniors Dan Morris and Tim Rotanz and seniors Adam DiMillo, Connor Kelly and Bryce Young.

This year’s group of five captains has pieced together an impressive collective resume prior to 2018, appearing in a combined 249 career games. All five players have been to the NCAA Final Four every season as a Terrapin, with the group of three seniors appearing in the NCAA finals all three seasons.

The Cornell Big Red will debut new uniforms this year!

A couple of western lacrosse stories from US Lacrosse Magazine. First, Matt DaSilva profiles Adrenaline co-founder Alex Cade and his goal to spread lacrosse across the west coast and Southern California.

Also, Megan Schneider writes on the tough offseason for the three-team MPSF, which lost the majority of its teams to the new Pac-12 conference as well as the reclassification of St. Mary’s to club.

Friendly reminder: You can watch today’s Team USA Spring Premiere at 4:30 PM on uslacrosse.org!

Despite the goal being sick, it still hurts for me being a Cuse guy:

Three games are on the NLL docket for tonight. At 7:05 PM, Saskatchewan takes on Georgia in an NLL Championship rematch. Buffalo hosts Calgary at 7:30 PM in the NLL Game of the Week, and Vancouver takes on Toronto in an all-Canadian matchup at 10 PM.

Philly Jawns

A ton of prosecutors had a bad Friday: They were fired from the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office.

World News

The winning $450 million Mega Millions ticket was sold in Florida. Sorry everybody else.
