Games To Watch

Manhattan @ Hartford: The Jaspers have had over a week off after their last game, which was a 18-8 loss to Robert Morris. Meanwhile, the defending America East champion Hawks are off to a bad 0-2 start, including a 17-11 loss at Bryant on Saturday. Hartford looks to get out of the Reverse Survivor pool today.

Villanova @ Drexel: The Wildcats are off to a terrible 0-3 start, and have lost their last four games dating back to last season. Drexel is off to an 0-2 start after falling to ranked teams Virginia and Albany. This is a Reverse Survivor-off, so make sure you watch this game tonight (and it’s a free stream!).

Bryant @ Boston University: This is my pick for game of the day, and not because Marisa’s BU squad is involved (BUT SHE IS CALLING THE GAME). Today is well-known for the hunter, as Quint Kessenich likes to say (and it’s true). This year however, Bryant is the hunter, as the Bulldogs are 2-2 with both of their losses (Bucknell and Providence) being one-goal games. Tucker James leads the team with 13 goals and 20 points.

Meanwhile, the Terriers are coming off a late victory over Navy in Annapolis, 8-7, in their Patriot League opener. Jack Wilson had a hat-trick, but that third goal was the most important, which was the game-winner with 1.5 seconds left. Cal Dearth had a pair of goals and an assist, as he continues to lead the team with nine goals and 15 points. BU is 4-0 and are definitely a top 25 team in the nation (although the College Crosse staff thinks they’re a top 20 team). They’ll get Air Force on Saturday as well.
