Last but certainly not least, Binghamton finally got their new BOSS today.

Shout out to @RPDLacrosse aka the Source Gawd aka the #DarkCornersWhisperer, for the early tips.

For the (hopefully) last time this offseason ..... Hey Binghamton ..... COME ON DOWN!!!

Coaching Carousel Board

Hartford America East Hartford names Ryan Martin BOSS.
UMBC America East UMBC names Ryan Moran BOSS.
Jacksonville SoCon Jacksonville names John Galloway BOSS.

This is a homecoming in many ways for McKeown. The Brewster, NY native was a BALLER at BU and made all-conference 3 times in his career. He was also USILA All-American Honorable Mention in 2004, the first male Binghamton athlete to ever receive such a honor. McKeown was also inducted into the school's Athletics Hall of Fame in 2014. So he's pretty much BU royalty at this point.  The school's press release called McKeown "the most decorated Bearcat in program history."

Moreover, aside from balling at Binghamton, McKeown returned to BU after graduation as the defensive coordinator and goalie coach from 2008-2011. McKeown was even interim BOSS for the 2011 season, when he led the Bearcats to the America East Tournament. Bringing McKeown back to BU after coaching stints at Siena and Bellarmine was a major coup for the school. You can tell Athletic Director Patriot Elliot was very happy to make the announcement today:

"We are excited to welcome Kevin home, and have him lead our men's lacrosse program. Kevin has demonstrated a keen ability to recruit and develop quality student-athletes, with an emphasis on athletic and academic excellence."

BOSS McKeown was also very happy to be back at Binghamton:

"I would like to thank President Stenger, Director of Athletics Patrick Elliot, and Associate Director of Athletics Dave Simek, for providing me with the opportunity to lead the lacrosse program at Binghamton University. It is a dream come true to return to Binghamton to establish a winning tradition and bring an America East Championship to the University."

Well, that's that. After an insane month and a half, all of the vacant BOSS positions have been filled and our Coaching Carousel has finally comes to a full stop. I'm kind of sad. This was easily the #BestOffseasonEver and I'm really going to miss all the baseless speculation and conjecture.
