Today's schedule, links to streams and live stats, and more.

This feels right:

Here are your three highlights for today:

  • ESPNU's Stranglehold on Your Life: ESPNU has a monster slate today. At 11:00, the network will show America's First Sport, a documentary produced by Syracuse University that examines the game development in North America. At noon, Syracuse -- in SlamBall uniforms -- will face Notre Dame on the Carrier Dome's carpet, a pivotal ACC game as the league's tournament picture becomes more clear. Then at 2:00, ESPNU will have North Carolina-Hopkins at Homewood Field, a violent opportunity for both teams to smash tough skulls. That's five solid hours of lacrosse on your television. These are the good times, people.
  • Bucknell-Army // Loyola-Colgate: Four of the Patriot League's top five teams will throw hands against each other today. With the conference's season moving past its halfway point (the Patriot League are junior achievers), how these games shake out could significantly shape the league's look as its conference tournament emerges on the horizon. And that's not all that these games provide: Bucknell, Army, and Colgate are still looking to establish themselves as legitimate top 20 teams with higher ceilings than originally anticipated. These games have consequence, and that's why much of today is built around how a handful of the Patriot League's best teams perform in big moments.
  • Towson at Hofstra // Drexel at Delaware: THUNDERDOME! toolkit: brass knuckles, flamethrower, throwing stars, rusty chainsaw, disembodied limb, a possessed Teddy Ruxpin . . .

THUNDERDOME! STANDINGS: AS OF MARCH 28, 2014
    TEAM CONFERENCE RECORD (OVERALL)
    Massachusetts 1-0 (7-2)
    Towson 1-0 (7-2)
    Hofstra 2-0 (5-3)
    Delaware 0-2 (5-4)
    Drexel 0-1 (5-4)
    Penn State 0-1 (4-4)

This is your open thread for Saturday. Soft pretzels with brown mustard are the best food group. People will be around to yak about whatever is tickling their fancy.
