NCAA Lacrosse Tournament: Saturday Morning Bracket Projection Aggregation

This may change as Saturday develops, but this is where things stand as of Saturday morning.

Jim O'Connor-US PRESSWIRE

Bracket people checked in with their projections this morning. As of right now, two teams are locked into the field -- Lehigh (Patriot) and Towson (THUNDERDOME!) -- but four more leagues -- America East, Big East, NEC, and ECAC -- will hand out their automatic invitations throughout the day.

Here how things look at the moment (click the names to go to the brackets):

Common last teams out (in no particular order): Bucknell (season complete), Pennsylvania (season complete), and Princeton. The Tigers still have an opportunity to earn an automatic invitation to the NCAA Tournament with its date against Yale on Sunday in the Ivy League final. The Bison and Quakers look like they're going to need some nutty stuff to fall in their favor, including teams ahead of them passing on an at-large invitation (due to massive head trauma).

Common last teams in: Loyola (season complete) and Duke (Marquette on Sunday). Both are desperately hoping that Syracuse and Albany hold serve today in their league finals.
