College Lacrosse Schedule for May 1, 2013

It's all THUNDERDOME! today, you guys.

How do I feel right now? Are you seriously asking how I feel right now? How do you think that I feel right now? Fine, I'll tell you how I feel right now:

Here are your highlights for the day (and if you prefer your highlights in infographic form, click this text that is highlighted on your computing machine in a different color):

  • (4) Massachusetts v. (1) Penn State: The preview should set you straight, homeslice, but there's one thing to keep in mind: Austin Kaut could strike the final blow to Massachusetts that ends a season for the Minutemen that was alternatively in-gear and out-of-gear depending on the particular day of the season. There are no definitives in the THUNDERDOME! Tournament, but it is going to take an effort involving putting a putt-putt course on Saturn for Massachusetts to surmount the Nittany Lions this afternoon.
  • (3) Towson v. (2) Drexel: The preview should make your heart fill with happiness, you emotional cripple, but there's one thing to keep in mind: These are somewhat disparate teams with divergent success necessitites, and that always creates the best kind of game circumstances. This matchup is the true essence of THUNDERDOME! play -- it's just brass knuckles and a guy with a flamethrower and no medical personnel in sight -- and it is one of the more intriguing conference semifinals this year.

Here's today's full schedule with links to things so that you can monitor the carnage (Wagner isn't in action today because let's face it: it's tetherball season):
