Lehigh had a banner year in 2012, going 14-3, and making serious waves in D1 lacrosse. Kevin Cassese has this program on the up and up, and two of their losses came by only one goal, the third was an early season blowout loss to Villanova. Lehigh beat Yale, UNC, Penn State, Bucknell, and Colgate. Like I said, 2012 was a banner year!
Alphabetical 2013 NCAA D1 Preview: Lafayette
The 2012 season started out ok for Lafayette, but quickly spiraled out of control. After going 2-1 with wins over Providence and Wagner (and a loss to Binghamton), The Leopards would go on to lose seven straight games. A rebound win over Holy Cross helped, but then Lafayette played their two toughest games of the year in Colgate and Lehigh, and lost both by a combined 21 goals.
