Dear Knuckleheads and Knuckleheadettes,
Hi! How are you? Are you still planning on getting that boil lanced this weekend? Well, best of luck with all of that!
Pleasantries aside, I'd just like to thank you for patronizing this Division I college lacrosse product. College Crosse prides itself on being a high quality clothier since 1783, but as the apparel marketplace has tanked ever since the investment banks forgot how investment banks were supposed to work in the mid- to late-2000's, College Crosse has had to repurpose itself as a distributor of lacrosse and lacrosse-like reading material. Our bottom line is strong -- No, we can't lend you any money, jerk! -- and our return business is growing each week. Capitalism!
There is, however, one thing missing from this lacrosse and lacrosse-like enterprise: You! What sets College Crosse apart from other lacrosse and lacrosse-like concerns is that its parent company and Dear Leader -- SB Nation-- is the tops at community development. Sure, you can comment on College Crosse's offerings like most other sites (and we hope that you do), but there are two other aspects of College Crosse's industrial pursuit that its peers can't provide -- FanPosts and FanShots. Each, we hope, will help build the community to which you currently participate.
You can find FanPosts and FanShots over on the right-hand column of this Internet computing website. They're just for you; a gift from College Crosse, free of charge, that allows you to invest a non-equity position in the company! Here's a short description of each:
- FanPosts: These are basically user-generated blog posts. They are kind of like little blogs within the industry-standard College Crosse blog. FanPosts are, generally, utilized to publish substantial ideas, opinions, and inquiries, and the user interface is so simple that it comes without a child safety warning. There is a word minimum for FanPosts, and if you can't seem to hit the threshold, then you probably have a FanShot on your hands rather than a FanPost. If you write a good one, I'll likely feature it on the front page of College Crosse, increasing your personal net worth and likely making you more attractive to the opposite sex.
- FanShots: FanShots are little appetizers in the College Crosse mercantile exchange. These are generally links to items, images, videos, quotes, and the universe of things that don't quite rise to the level of a FanPost. Again, the user interface is streamlined and intuitive, unlike talking to girls at 2:00 A.M. at the local pub.
Again, thanks to all that have patronized College Crosse during this season. We will continue to strive for high customer satisfaction and welcome your contributions to this growing concern.
Best,
Team College Crosse
