Or, if you prefer, it's your Saturday college lacrosse open thread. Nobody calls it that anymore, though. To refer to it as that would be ridiculous.
There's all sorts of hot action taking place around the country. You've already set your DVR in accordance with the "Fun Factors" games (Georgetown-Duke; Virginia-Hopkins; Drexel-Hofstra; Syracuse-Villanova; and Yale-Princeton). Wait, you didn't? That's it. I'm going to find you and scold you with terse words.
Anyway, there are also tons of other interesting games happening on this beautiful Saturday:
- North Carolina-Maryland: Will the Heels screw the pooch like they did against their last quality opponent (Duke)?
- Pennsylvania-Cornell: The Big Red are hotter than a $2.00 pistol; the Quakers have one of the best defenses in the country. This is a huge test for the Philly boys up at Schoellkopf Field.
- Marist-Canisius: It's the battle of who could care less.
- Hartford-Wagner; Lehigh-Holy Cross; St. Joseph's-Penn State: The Seahawks, Crusaders, and Hawks are neck-and-neck in "Reverse Survivor." Will any of the three win today? (SPOILER: No freakin' way.)
So, pop a cold one and leave your words in the comments below. Things are starting to get exciting.
