College Crosse Week 12 Top 20

We’re finally here! The last regular season College Crosse Top 20 Poll of 2019. This week Jake, Chris, Ryan, Adam, & myself took part in the voting. Directly below you can find each of our individual ballots and below that is the official College Crosse Top 20 poll for Week 12. Additionally, you can also find the Week 12 Poll Aggregation at the bottom of the post.

As you can see, the top of the poll stays unchanged with the Nittany Lions at #1. This week however, Penn comes in at #2 with Yale following closely behind at #3. Penn was third last week and Yale was 5th, but with Maryland & Duke both losing last weekend, it opened the door for the Quakers & Bulldogs to move up. Virginia didn’t play last weekend, but moved up from 6th to a tie for 4th. Maryland was in the #2 spot last week, but they slightly tumbled to a tie for 4th with Virginia after the Terps lost to the Blue Jays on Saturday.

The biggest movers & shakers this week were in the bottom half of the Top 20. Ohio State plummeted from 9th last week to 17th this week after their loss to Michigan over the weekend. Additionally, Boston University also had a significant fall, going from 14th last week to unranked after their loss to Navy this past weekend. On the positive side, North Carolina jumped from unranked to 18th after their win over Syracuse on Thursday & close loss to Virginia on Saturday. Our biggest positive mover of the week is Johns Hopkins, as the Jays went from unranked last week to 14th this week after beating Maryland Saturday night.
