COLLEGE CROSSECAST Ep. 113: Out with the Rothsteinisms, In with the Late Season Picture

March turns to April, and so does the drama in college lacrosse. We recap the weekend that shook up the big picture and set the wheels in motion in conference races on the latest edition of COLLEGE CROSSECAST.

NCAA Football - Outback Bowl - Tennessee vs Penn State - January 1, 2007

We’re into the final month of the regular season in NCAA Men’s Lacrosse. All the conferences have begun their schedules and the top teams are starting to settle themselves out. But this is lacrosse, so there’s still plenty of chaos to go around. And that always makes for good radio, which makes us here happy when we’re recording COLLEGE CROSSECAST.

On this edition I’m joined by Safe and Chris as we start off with some news coming out of the MLL (1:10) before we go through the NCAA scoreboard (14:30). Then we break down plenty of the week’s biggest games, going through Yale-Penn (24:00), Syracuse-Notre Dame (29:20), Mount St. Mary’s rise (33:50), the CAA already living up to the THUNDERDOME! billing (35:50), Georgetown-Denver (39:12), Duke-UNC (45:22), Rutgers-Ohio State (53:25), and Penn State-Maryland (1:06:35). We unveil our College Crosse Top 20 on the show (1:12:00) before getting you set for today’s games (1:15:06) and end with our mailbag which includes an exercise in creating a 6-team superconference (1:20:38).
