COLLEGE CROSSECAST Ep. 104: Sunday Brendan Sunday

Jake got to see Towson beat Loyola in person, so we recap the midweek games. Then there’s a lot of traditional and new-school rivalry games being played this weekend, so we preview those as well.

That is indeed the Towson Tiger on a go-kart.

It’s not very often that we have a midweek game that’s the game to talk about more than the games up ahead, but Loyola-Towson happened. But hey, it is a weekend with big name rivalries like Denver-UNC, Johns Hopkins-Princeton, Virginia-Syracuse, and Maryland-Notre Dame, so we’ll cover all that too.

On this edition of COLLEGE CROSSECAST I’m joined by Jake as we relive the midweek games (2:00) and Towson knocking off #1 Loyola at home (in front of Jake, to boot). Then we turn our attention to a rivalry filled slate this weekend, starting with Duke-Richmond on Friday night (26:30). We cover a timeslot filled with rivalries from 10-noon (the first three mentioned above, 31:51) before turning our attention to the afternoon with Delaware-Villanova and Albany-Cornell (56:43) and lastly Sunday with... whatever Maryland and Notre Dame call lacrosse this go round (1:02:00). We also make our picks for the weekend to wrap things up (1:07:44)
