Not a ton of excitement from today’s small slate of games, but we did have three winners, which are important. Nothing really shocking as well in terms of results.
Below is today’s Big Board with all of today’s results, box scores, and winning team recaps. Clicking on any box score will take you to that game’s box score. Clicking on the recap cell will take you to that team’s recap.

Game Recaps
- The game that presented the greatest amount of excitement was the Philly Phour matchup between the Saint Joseph’s Hawks and the Drexel Dragons. Drexel was up 6-3 at halftime, but the Hawks managed to go on a 5-0 run in the third quarter to take an 8-6 lead. The Dragons managed to tie the game up at nine midway through the final frame and it appeared the game would need overtime, but Nicholas Vernacchio scored his first career college goal to lift the Hawks to their second win of the season.

Davis Stoner had three caused turnovers and a goal, while goaltender Mike Adler made 11 stops. For Drexel, Reid Bowering had a hat-trick and one assist, with Jimmeh Koita going 14-for-21 on the face-off X, and Chre Teitelbaum saved 12 shots.

- The UMBC Retrievers opened up with a 2-0 lead at Homewood Field. But it all came downhill after, beginning with a Brett Baskin goal with a second left. That would begin a 10-0 run for the Blue Jays, who won a 13-6 meeting over their Baltimore rivals. Shack Stanwick recorded three goals and four assists to tie a career-high in points in a game. Kyle Marr, Cole Williams, Connor DeSimone, and Brett Baskin also scored two goals. The Retrievers were led by Ryan Frawley and Steven Zichelli, who scored twice in the loss.
- The Cleveland State Vikings had a one-goal game against the Lafayette Leopards entering the fourth quarter. They too went on a run, a 5-0 run, to end the game in the entire fourth quarter for their second win of the season. Nate Menendez had two of his three goals on the night in the final frame, with Jake Higgins and Tristan Hanna scored a pair of goals. Stephen Russo made 11 saves in the win. Conor Williams recorded a pair of goals and assists in the loss for Lafayette.
