With Albany and Stony Brook moving to #1 in the media polls, it’s the first time that a SUNY school was ranked #1 in any lacrosse poll!
In the US Lacrosse Division II rankings, Merrimack and Le Moyne are still 1-2, with Tampa, Belmont Abbey, and Pace rounding out the top five.
In the US Lacrosse Division III rankings, Wesleyan and York are still 1-2 as well, with RIT, Denison, and Gettysburg rounding out the top five.
We’re all ears for this one!

The Colorado Buffaloes won their first home game since the tragic death of Julia Sarcona, as Evan Kruegel of Fox 31 in Denver reports:
“It’s definitely a day that I’ll always remember,” coach Ann Elliot said. “It’s a tough day. You have a player call you, and tell you what happened to their friend, it’s hard.”
“It’s been a tough month, one that’s been up and down,” senior Blair Sisk said.
Sisk scored the team’s first goal, celebrating with her teammates near a large “JS” logo painted on the field.
“When I look down it makes my heart a little warm,” Sisk said. “It’s a good thing that it’s on our field, because you know that that emotion, you can harness it.”

This was a fire goal by Princeton Tigers attackman Phillip Robertson. But I think the play-by-play guy was already focused on next Sunday’s game against Syracuse:
