Games To Watch.

Loyola vs. Georgetown: Well this was an easy choice since there is only one game today. The Greyhounds come into this one having won 4 out of their last 5 games after opening the season 0-2. Loyola destroyed Navy in their most recent game, as a dozen players found the back of the net in Loyola’s 18-7. The win over Navy puts Loyola at 3-0 in the Patriot League and tied for first place with Army. Georgetown is the last non-conference opponent for the Greyhounds before they finish out the season with the rest of their Patriot League schedule.

While the season started out pretty dismally for Georgetown with 4 straight losses, the Hoyas have rebounded a bit recently and have won 2 out of their last 3 games. While we always say there are no moral victories in lacrosse, the Hoyas have been competitive in most of their games this year. Georgetown actually hung around with Notre Dame for a little bit in their early season match-up before losing 16-10, and they only lost to Towson by 1 goal back in February. It’s not out of the realm of possibility for the Hoyas to steal this one, if Georgetown can put together a complete game against Loyola. Of course that’s easier said than done, especially when you’re going up against a Greyhounds team that is averaging 14 goals/game this season.

Attahchments.

I love this video of BOSS Tierney celebrating with his troops after beating Stony Brook last night.

Our newest Crossecast is up. It was only me and the Kid Chris on this one.

BOSS Brecht jumped on WRSU 88.7 to chat about his unbeaten Scarlet Knights.
