Three games today!

A trio of games today, including two games with pretty significant national implications. Rutgers vs. Princeton should be a very interesting match-up, as should Towson vs. Ohio State.

Below is today’s Big Board. Clicking on the team name will take you to that team’s homepage. Clicking on the Stream cell will take you to the broadcast of that game, while the Live Stats cell will take you to the live stats of that game. Anything with a $$ means the game is available but you must either pass a pay wall or must get a subscription. Let’s go to the Big Board!!

Games To Watch.

Towson vs. Ohio State: Ohio State’s off to its best start in decades. However, many question their level of competition so far this season. The Buckeyes have only played one team (Marquette) that has a .500 or above record in 2017. Today’s game vs. Towson will be a real test for the Buckeyes as the Tigers sport a 4-1 record and are coming off a huge win versus Hopkins. The Buckeyes lost this game in OT last year but this is a much improved Ohio State team than last year. OSU is averaging “12.57 goals a game, ranking fourth in the Big Ten and 15th in the NCAA in scoring offense, while allowing 7.14 a contest to rank second among B1G teams and seventh nationally in scoring defense.” I believe this game is going to be pretty tight and might even go into OT again.

Princeton vs. Rutgers: Rutgers is on fire right now. The Scarlet Knights destroyed Stony Brook and are ranked higher than they’ve been in years. All that won’t mean anything though if they lose today to Princeton. Princeton has Rutgers’ number, the “teams will meet for the 95th time, with the Tigers leading the all-time series 61-29-3. The last Rutgers win in the series came in 2005, an 8-5 home win.” However, something feels different about this Rutgers team and I wouldn’t be surprised if they really took it to the Tigers today.
