Game Previews

Mercer @ Wagner: This will be Wagner’s fourth game in eight days, as they defeated Dartmouth (#WhitneyInOT), VMI, and Hampton during that span. So not the best of competition, but Mercer should give them a good game. The Bears are 2-3 and earned their second win of the season Friday night with a 10-7 nod over NJIT. It’ll be cold once again on Staten Island, so if you’re going, bundle up!

St. Joe’s @ Drexel: It’s a Philly Phour Phocus battle between two teams coming off wins! The Dragons held off a late Bryant rally Friday night on Vidas Field to win 7-5, while the Hawks earned a #WhitneyInOT win over Monmouth, 6-5, on Sweeney Field. After starting the season 0-3 against ranked teams, St. Joe’s has won three straight games. Drexel started 0-4 before their first win of the season. In last year’s battle, Matthew Varian scored at the horn to give the Dragons the 10-9 edge. Sadly, he’s out for the entire season for Drexel.

Notre Dame @ Denver: One of the best annual lacrosse games isn’t available to watch for free today...that’s weird. (Ed. Note: There is no day pass.) Notre Dame defeated Maryland at home, 5-4, and earned the top spot amongst the polls. Ryder Garnsey and Mikey Wynne are hot, while Sergio Perkovic is not...well, just yet. For Denver, they’re looking to get back on track after suffering a setback to North Carolina at home, 13-9. It’ll be another big test for the duo of Connor Cannizzaro and freshman Ethan Walker at attack.

Speaking of the Philly Phour Phocus, make sure you check that out!

Song of the Day

With what happened yesterday in college lacrosse, it just might be the end of the world as we know it.

First game’s at noon! I’ll see you out there!
