24 match-ups on tap for today (Ed. Note: BU vs. Colgate has been moved to Monday). Our College Crosse Game Day Live Stream starring The Boy Chris over on our Facebook page will be a bit different today but it should still be fun. The start time is still up in the air but we’re hoping to start around 9:30.

Below is today’s Big Board. Clicking on the team name will take you to that team’s homepage. Clicking on the Stream cell will take you to the broadcast of that game, while the Live Stats cell will take you to the live stats of that game. Cells with $$ signs in them indicate streams that require a subscription or a pay wall. Everything else should be free or on your basic ESPN plan. Let’s go to the Big Board!!

(Ed. Note: As always ... all times are East Coast Standard time.)

Games To Watch.

Duke vs. Loyola: This rematch of last year’s first round tournament match-up is a very important game for both teams. Both Duke & Loyola have only one win against a team with a .500+ record (Duke beat Richmond & Loyola beat Towson) and neither team has looked sharp against capable competition. Given how evenly matched both squads appear this year, a win today might give one the edge over the other if both find themselves in the at-large pool on Selection Sunday.

Harvard vs. Penn State: Penn State comes into this game red hot. The Nittany Lions have one of the most powerful offenses in D1 and their freshman Mac O’Keefe has been absolutely sensational. Nevertheless, some still question the level of PSU’s competition so far this season. Additionally, their defense has not been as impressive as their offense this year. PSU can quell some of their dissenters with a quality win in Cambridge over the Crimson today.

Albany vs. Maryland: This is probably the best game on the menu today. Other than a season-opening, last second loss to Syracuse, Albany has been lights out this year. Since their loss in the Dome, the Great Danes have only given up 7.3 goals/game, while scoring 17.6 goals/game. Oh and Conor Fields is playing at top-5 level right now as well. This is a very dangerous game for Maryland. The Terps have looked shaky their last games versus Yale and Notre Dame, and if they aren’t ready to play, Albany is definitely capable of sending them back to College Park with their second L of 2017.

Towson vs. Johns Hopkins: Hop got their doors blown off two Fridays ago versus Princeton. Some of their biggest weaknesses were exposed for all to see against the Tigers. The good news for Hop is that they get a chance to redeem themselves versus a cross-town rival. However, the bad news is that these Tigers have a very strong faceoff game (Towson has won 69.1% of their faceoffs in 2017), which could pose a major problem for the Blue Jays.
