Games To Watch.

Rutgers vs. Stony Brook: Though we have a nice mini-slate of games today, RU vs. SBU is easily the most appetizing of the bunch. Both teams are undefeated, both teams are in the top 15, and I have a feeling both teams are going to put on a show tonight in High Point Solutions Stadium.

The Scarlet Knights are off to a great start in 2017 and are coming off a big win over Brown. While their offense carried them last year, this year Rutgers is led by their excellent defense. The Scarlet Knights are “top-ten in caused turnovers (second, 10.8 per game), ground balls (fifth, 35 per game) and scoring defense (eighth, 9.8 goals against per game).” If Rutgers can play tonight they way they have the first month of the season, they might be able to avenge that 15-6 shellacking they received last year against Seawolves in Long Island.

4-0 Stony Brook is off to the best start in program history. Like Rutgers, Stony Brook also has a win over Brown this year (their second win over a top-10 team in program history). Freshman Cory VanGinhoven leads the team in points (13 Gs & 3 As), while seniors Ryan Bitzer (5 Gs & 10 As) and Alex Corpolongo (10 Gs & 5 As) are right behind him with 15 points each.

Attachments.

Marisa Ingemi started a firestorm today with this hit piece controversial post on the Big Ten: Is the Big Ten really the best conference in lacrosse?

“Head coach Kristen Skiera takes you through the brand new FEN Lacrosse Center and the other areas of the women's lacrosse facilities.”

Song Of The Day.

Happy birthday Carrie Underwood!

Games start at 3:00! I’ll see you out there!
