Brown 25, Quinnipiac 9: So Brown is still Brown and they’re still good. The Bears scored five goals in the first, second, and fourth quarters, and a ridiculous 10 in the third. Dylan Molloy is still Dylan Molloy as he recorded four goals and four assists in the win. At attack, freshmen Jack Kniffin and Luke McCaleb had fantastic debuts for Bruno. Kniffin recorded six goals and an assist, while McCaleb had four goals and three assists. LSM Larken Kemp had a goal and three assists and is still a bad man. Freshman goaltender Phil Goss made seven saves in the win. FOGO Ted Ottens picked up where Will Gural left off and had a goal and an assist.
For the Bobcats, Brian Feldman had a hat trick, while Drew D’Antonio had a goal and three assists.
Stony Brook 14, St. John’s 5: The Red Storm scored the game’s first five goals. Then, Stony Brook scored the next 14 goals. Cory VanGinhoven recorded a hat trick and two assists, while Ryan Bitzer had a goal and five dishes. Alex Corpolongo had two goals and two assists, while Connor Grippe had a pair of goals and an assist.
Mike Madsen led the way for St. John’s with two goals, while Jason DeBenedictis also recorded a score.
Cleveland State 15, John Carroll 8: The Vikings got their second win of the season in as many days, beating another Division III school. Tristen Copeland had four goals, while Jake Lewis had a hat trick and an assist. Caleb Espinoza made six saves in the game in three quarters of work. The Vikings return to playing Division I teams next weekend against Denver and Air Force.
