We got a grand total of 33 games on tap for today in our first really full Saturday of games. It’s a heavy dose of #LaxRedZone this afternoon, so get your sweats, computer(s), mobile device(s), TV(s), and other technology and make yourself as comfortable as possible. Once again, I’ll be doing a College Crosse Game Day stream on our Facebook page at 9 am, so hop on over there!
Below is today’s Big Board. Clicking on the team name will take you to that team’s homepage. Clicking on the Stream cell will take you to the broadcast of that game, while the Live Stats cell will take you to the live stats of that game. Cells with $$ signs in them indicate streams that require a subscription or a pay wall. Everything else should be free or on your basic ESPN plan. Let’s go to the Big Board!!

Games to Watch
Hopkins vs. Loyola: The little scrappy team from Baltimore (Hopkins) is going up against the big bad Greyhounds of Loyola. We’ll see if this little-known medical school can keep up with last year’s semifinalist.
UMass vs. Ohio State: The Minutemen dropped Ohio State last year, in one of several big time upsets for UMass in an otherwise down year (they also beat UNC). Ohio State looked good in their two games versus Detroit & Furman, but they better not overlook UMass like they did last year.
Syracuse vs. Albany: Arguably the game of the day today. While not as big as some of the others, this game is one of the best rivalry games in D1. I will be interested in seeing how the Orange compensate for the loss of Nick Mellen who was a big part of their 2017 defense.
Rutgers vs. Army: This was a very close and fun game last year and it should be the same in 2017. Rutgers came out smoking last week against St. John's but Army poses a much tougher challenge.

Here are some highlights of yesterday’s Wagner vs. Lafayette.
Read up on Denver’s new super frosh, Ethan Walker.
Ethan Walker isn’t a middle linebacker, and he has no affiliation with the Heinz family that makes tasty steak sauce in Pittsburgh. He’s just a University of Denver freshman trying to make a name for himself.
By donning No. 57 for DU’s top-ranked men’s lacrosse team, the left-handed Canadian took an available number he hopes to make popular within his game.
“I thought if I wore that number, maybe everyone would want to wear that number someday,” Walker said. “Just a quick split-decision on picking 57.”
Chris’ Philly Phour Phocus post was awesome ... as usual.
Welcome to another edition of the Philly Phour Phocus, which is properly spelled for the occasion. Once again, we're following all four Philly teams throughout the season, and updating their chances of repping the great city in this year's Final Four in...Foxborough.
Last week, only two teams started their season in Villanova and St. Joe’s. Nova was upset at home by Monmouth, while St. Joe’s fell to Maryland at home. What about Drexel and Penn? And what does this week look like for our proud teams? To the Big Board we go! This week's Philly Phour Phocus Big Board is sponsored by Bustleton. Bustleton: It can be bustling at times.
Song of the Day
H/T to our man @ItHuddLLe for reminding me how much I love this song. HIT IT, MILEY!!
That’s it for now. Games start at 11. And I’ll be at the Albany-Syracuse game from the Carrier Dome also on our Facebook page at around 2:40ish! I’ll see you out there!!
