Here’s a nice profile on UNC head coach Jenny Levy.

If Sophie Carpenter Speidel, her coach at Roland Park Country School in Baltimore, hadn't recommended her, Jenny Levy might not have played women's lacrosse at Virginia. She wouldn't have spent two years competing for a spot in the Cavaliers' lineup. She wouldn't have seen her hard work result in two first team All-America selections and Most Outstanding Attacker honors when UVa. claimed the 1991 NCAA championship.

All of that helped lead Levy to Chapel Hill, where she's served as North Carolina's first and only women's lacrosse coach since 1994. She's built the program from scratch.

Monmouth putting in that work.

Lots of good lacrosse action on campus today. Coaches & players bringing the energy on great day here at the shore! #flyhawks #prospectday

What’s Up, PhilaJersey?

Live in NJ or PA? Here are 20 farms where you can cut your own Christmas tree.

Is it really the holidays without a pine needles covering your entire house? It’s just not as festive when there isn’t an air of evergreen filling the house. While fake trees may be a lot less maintenance and easier to come by for most city dwellers, a real Christmas tree gives this season the majestic touch that takes us back to childhood. Yes, the pre-cut trees at Whole Foods may be the easier option, but I know some of us yearn to get their lumberjack on and hit the tree farm.

We’ve rounded up 20 farms in the Philadelphia area — in the ‘burbs and New Jersey — where you can chop down your very own Christmas tree. These farms all offer a wide variety of trees in basically any size you’d need — ranging in size from small three-footers to 20-foot monsters.

Man, hipsters ruin everything: Hipsters Go Glamping, and RV Makers Soar.

For anyone who has gotten stuck on a mountain road behind a massive recreational vehicle, get used to it, there are a lot more on the highway.

Recreational vehicles, ranging from bus-sized motor homes to retro trailers, have been a boom-and-bust industry since they first became popular in the early 1970s. Now a wave of retiring baby boomers and a surprisingly young new fan base have sent U.S. unit sales above their housing boom peak. Shares of the two leading manufacturers of RVs, Thor Industries and smaller Winnebago Industries, each hit records last week.

The fundamentals—fuel prices, interest rates, disposable income and demographics—all look solid. That has the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association projecting a further jump this year and next. Despite that, delighted investors might want to unhitch themselves from these stocks. When things go badly for the economy, they go very badly for RV makers.
