Vikings Lacrosse! GET SOME!!!

The Baltimore Sun with a post on Inside Lacrosse’s 2017 All-Name Team.

About this time in the lacrosse offseason, the name of the game is names. Glorious, made-up-sounding, "Gossip Girl"-on-steroids names. Inside Lacrosse has dutifully chronicled the NCAA's best since 2008, and, wow, look how far the sport has not come. Nine years ago, there was a first-teamer named Thayer Damm; today, we have someone with seemingly the same makeup — concrete, steel, et cetera — named Brickman House.

Great video of the 2016 Robert Morris alumni game.

Get your votes in!!!: Voting now open for Drexel’s 75th anniversary lacrosse team.

The team will be announced this spring and recognized on April 22. The 75th anniversary festivities will culminate in Drexel's final regular-season home game against Delaware on April 22. The 75th anniversary team will be honored at halftime of the game against the Blue Hens. In addition, the team will be wearing throwback jerseys in their contest against Delaware. These game worn jerseys will be auctioned off as part of a silent auction which will take place in the spring. There will be a postgame alumni reception after the game.

Denver names four captains for the 2017 season.

Nice article about Calgary Roughnecks 19 year old goalie, Christian Del Bianco.

Del Bianco, the Calgary Roughnecks’ 19-year-old netminder from Coquitlam, is scheduled to make his first National Lacrosse League start Friday when his team hosts the Vancouver Stealth at the Scotiabank Saddledome — 6 p.m., in the 2017 regular-season opener for both clubs.
The star of the Coquitlam Junior Adanacs’ Minto Cup national championship triumph last summer is slated to be Calgary’s backup this season, but projected No. 1 Frankie Scigliano is suspended because of his goalie brawl with Aaron Bold of the Saskatchewan Rush in a Dec. 16 pre-season game.

The NLL announced that they are partnering with UHWK for the upcoming NLL season for player POV game footage.

What’s Up, Philly?

Beloved sports broadcaster Ron Burke was let go by Philly Comcast SportsNet.

BIDEN COMING TO PHILLY!!!

Last month, Politico reported that Vice President Biden would “set up shop” at Penn after Donald Trump takes office in Washington. Yesterday, while on a C-Span hot mic, Biden accidentally confirmed the Penn appointment. “I’m going to be based out of Penn for foreign policy,” he said, saying he would “deliberately not [be] associating with any one medical center.” He said he will “continue the cancer work” with what he called “the Biden Trust.”

World/National News.

I’m not crying ... You’re CRYING!!: Young woman asks her stepmom to adopt her.

This woman married herself.

On the rooftop of her Brooklyn apartment building this past spring, Erika Anderson put on a vintage-style white wedding dress, stood before a circle of her closest friends, and committed herself — to herself.

"I choose you today," she said. Later she tossed the bouquet to friends and downed two shots of whiskey, one for herself and one for herself. She had planned the event for weeks, sending invitations, finding the perfect dress, writing her vows, buying rosé and fresh baguettes and fruit tarts from a French bakery. For the decor: an array of shot glasses emblazoned with the words "You and Me." In each one, a red rose.

Robots are going to steal all the jobs.
