The road to Foxborough (sad face that it’s not back in Philly) continues for more teams with week two of scrimmages throughout the Division I world.
Teams such as Syracuse, Denver, Johns Hopkins, and Duke return to the field for the start of preseason competition this weekend, while others such as North Carolina and Bucknell are getting final tuneups before their regular season starts next Saturday. The Ivy League teams will start scrimmaging next week as well.
Overall, there are 29 scrimmages involving Division I teams, with some being held during the week (we’ll consider Friday as the start of the week for scrimmages). Some interesting matchups include Navy-North Carolina, Denver-Johns Hopkins, Army-Penn State, Virginia-Maryland, Cleveland State-Bellarmine, and Hofstra-Syracuse.
