Despite all our pleas to bring it back to Chester, it looks like the ACC is going to have schools host the ACC men’s tournament for the foreseeable future.
"Right now we really didn't have a good facility that we could do it at, so it naturally got put into the rotation of the schools, and Duke is next on the rotation as far the schools having the ACC tournament,'' Desko said. "I think one of the things we're trying to do is generate some more attendance at the games, a little bit more excitement there. And I think that would be the benefit of going to a home site.''
The Ivy League wants the NCAA to stop early recruiting in sports.

“We’re trying to close those loopholes,” Robin Harris, executive director of Ivy League, said. “The current culture is putting more and more pressure on prospective athletes to commit, because they’re talking to coaches and making unofficial visits earlier and earlier. You think about freshmen and sophomores and how much they still have to grow, physically, athletically, academically, emotionally, and our concern is that prospects are making decisions they come to regret.”
Carter Davis’ mom provided a copy of her power eulogy to 13 WMAZ in Georgia. Carter was the high school lacrosse player who was murdered along with his friend, Natalie Henderson, behind a convenience store back in August. (Police have made an arrest in the case.)
