GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING, College Crosse Nation! Thanks for making us a part of your day! Here are your links for September 12, 2016.

College Crosse News.

Matt DaSilva with a great post on USLacrosse.org about the full day of events at the new US Lacrosse facility in Sparks, MD yesterday.

Lacrosse lived up to its Native American moniker as a medicine game Sunday, especially for the 42 New York City firefighters and police officers that commemorated the 15th anniversary of 9/11 by playing in a memorial game at US Lacrosse's grand opening of its new headquarters.

The main event at US Lacrosse’s grand opening was a Team USA intrasquad scrimmage. Former Duke legend, Matt Danowski, had a huge day (3 Gs & 5 As) to help lead Team Blue over Team White 15-13.

If you haven’t seen it already here’s ESPN’s video on Welles Crowther, “The Man in the Red Bandanna.”

Air Force showed off their 2016 SoCon Championship rings yesterday.

Current New England Patriots wide receiver & former Penn State lacrosse player Chris Hogan, had a big game yesterday against the Arizona Cardinals. Here’s an interview our favorite BU Hitter, Marisa Ingemi, did with Chris this past summer.

“The biggest difference between playing lacrosse and football is lacrosse has more freedom, there’s really no set plays, it’s more just going out there and being in a certain formation,” Hogan said. “Football is a lot of Xs and Os and reading coverages and being able to adjust on the run.

What’s Up, Philly?

The Eagles won, Carson Wentz looked good FANTASTIC, and I’m very happy today. Philadelphia is going to the Super Bowl.

I almost fainted after this play.

World/National News.

“Dolphins recorded having a conversation 'just like two people' for first time.”
