College Crosse News.

The kid did it again! Make sure to read Jayskrem’s Scouting Report on Colgate.

Lacrosse is growing in Idaho: “Allie Stevens added, ‘I saw it on TV in a movie and said this looked fun, but my parents couldn't' find any, so we saw this camp and so we signed up.’"

Hero’s Lacrosse is still going strong after 50 years.

Great long article on Casey Powell & his last game against Boston: “It will be a quiet exodus on Saturday night at historic Harvard Stadium in Cambridge. But it should be an exodus fit for a king.”

Syracuse put up a great post celebrating Casey Powell’s collegiate & pro career.

Big changes next year in NY HS lacrosse: “High School boys lacrosse in Section III, and everywhere else, will look quite different in 2017. The New York State Public High School Athletic Association approved the addition of a fourth class to boys lacrosse.”

“Team Headstrong wins first-ever MLL Alumni Game.”

What’s Up, Philly?

September 24th is “Philly Free Streets” day!!: “A seven-mile course from the corner of Front and South streets to Sweet Briar Park. From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., those streets will be closed to traffic and Philadelphia residents will have the chance to participate in fitness activities and explore the city’s roadways.”

Beloved Channel 6 anchor, Jim Gardner, takes a leave of absence for a medical procedure.

The Olympics kicked off yesterday with the opening ceremony in Rio.
