Hey everyone, just wanted to put something on your radar. I received an email from supporters of the One Love Foundation about a wonderful fundraising opportunity involving Ryan Lukacovic and Michael Rhoads, rising fourth year students at UVA & members of the UVA men's lacrosse team.  Ryan and Michael are taking a cross country bike trip from Charlottesville, VA to San Francisco, CA to raise funds for the One Love Foundation.

The One Love Foundation provides education about and resources for those affected by relationship violence, something that 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men are expected to experience in their lifetime. The One Love Foundation was found in 2010 after the tragic and brutal death of Yeardley Love, a senior and UVA women's lacrosse player, who was beaten to death by an ex-boyfriend. The organization was founded to honor the memory of Yeardley Love, and works with young people across the country to raise awareness about the warning signs of abuse and activate communities to work to change the statistics around relationship violence.

Ryan and Michael are hoping to raise a dollar for each mile that the two of them cycle. 90% of the donations are going directly to the One Love Foundation with 10% going to help fund supplies and gear. Ryan and Michael's families are funding the majority of the expenses for this trip so that more proceeds can go to One Love.

A direct link to the GoFundMe page can be found here.

The boys have an awesome Instagram page documenting their journey, which began on May 27th. You can follow along on the @OneLove_CrossCountry Instagram page here. The lads should arrive on the west coast in about 6 weeks. Below are a few pictures from their time on the road.

Shout out to Michael, Ryan, the One Love Foundation, and the families/friends supporting this worthy undertaking. Obviously times are tight but if you have the means and are looking for a worthy cause, you can't go wrong with supporting Michael, Ryan, and the One Love Foundation.
