It was the Jordan Evans show early on for Syracuse. Jordan grabbed an early hat-trick, as he buried his 3rd goal of the game at the 9:06 mark of the 2nd quarter. Jordan finished with 4 goals on the evening. Sergio Salcido also had a great game for the Orange as the Winter Park, Florida native finished the game with 5 points (2Gs and 3As).
Frank Brown led Hobart in scoring with 2 goals. Hobart's J Andrew Spallanzani held his own at the faceoff, going 6-13 against Syracuse's Ben Williams.
Syracuse's next game is against Cornell in Ithaca and then they have a home clash with UNC. Syracuse has future regional games against Binghamton and Colgate to finish out the regular season. Hobart goes back to its NEC schedule with a game against Robert Morris on the 9th and then at Mount St. Mary's on the 16th.
Update.
Here's a video of BOSS Desko previewing the game and Kraus-Simmons Trophy. Looks like the lads met his expectations. I will look for the post-game press conference from today's game.
